Yes, it is now March. This is the sixth month that we have had snow. Even the chickens are stir crazy. They can no longer stay inside, even if there is a blizzard outside.
I am not that crazy.
But eventually as Annie says, The sun will come out...
and the weatherman says this is our LAST snow. He better be right.

Poor birds, it's really brutal out there. At least they still look fat and sassy. Do they eventually wind up in your dinner pot, or are they "just for fun" chickens?
ReplyDeleteJudyMac, after all those eggs they lay, I keep feeding them until they meet their maker, laying or not. That mean old Rooster, however, is itching to get into a nice stew!
