Halloween Eve Supper

Twas the night before Halloween...

We made a nice chicken stew with blackened cornbread...

It was bootiful!

    1. I blackened it by adding about 2 teaspoons of edible charcoal. Charcoal can be gritty sometimes, but the cornmeal hid that grittiness. It was quite striking. It had no effect on the taste of the cornbread.
